Threesome: Signs of Power solo exhibition to launch at Hang Tough Gallery

Dublin-based painter and signwriter Vanessa Power has turned her passion for hand lettering into a career aimed to ‘change the visual landscape of Dublin.’ Having painted signs for companies like Guinness Storehouse, Jameson, and the Abbey Theatre, Powers has established herself as one of the pioneer members of this niche craft.  With an immaculate type and a pop-art era vibrancy, Powers transforms traditional sign painting into an arresting visual experience.

DIAS Dunsink Observatory Public Open Night

Transport yourself out of the eye of the storm and into the cosmos at Dunsink Observatory. As part of the Dublin Festival of History, the observatory will be opening its doors to the public to show Ireland’s role in discovering the universe. Celebrate the third day of Ireland Music Week at The Button Factory where The Kaleidoscope concert series celebrates its 10th Birthday. An innovative series.  Formed by violinist Cliodhna Ryan and cellist Kate Ellis, Kaleidoscope offers a totally new, hip, and informal presentation of classical music in Dublin.
