Ramen-eating Contest

Show off your skills, and overwhelming love of ramen, by trying your hand in this contest. Compete against your fellow ramen-lovers to win the title of Ramen Eating Champion of Trinity! Caution: The ramen will be spicy, so if you’re not good with spices, maybe think twice about participating.

Wild(e) Fundraiser Pub Quiz 

We have the questions, do you have the answers? The shadow gals are bringing the fairytales of Oscar Wilde to London as part of the Vaults Festival and you can help them get there. Join them for a pub quiz with a few stories and some great prizes!

Prizes include: A poinín master class for 4 at Bar 1661, Board Game supplies by Gamers World, original art by Tales from the Shadows and a pizza for the best team name!

Chester Beatty Annual Lecture 2020: The Great Edward Hincks

The Chester Beatty invites you to the 2020 Annual Lecture with Dr Irving Finkel, celebrating 20 years in Dublin Castle. This talk will focus on the extraordinary scholar that was Edward Hincks, and consider the vital contribution that he made to the decipherment of cuneiform writing, an achievement for which he has never really received sufficient acknowledgement. The speaker will explain why this heroic product of Trinity College Dublin should be lauded by the United Nations and celebrated on postage stamps and fridge magnets.

Dungeons and Dragons For Beginners (5th Edition)

Maybe you’ve heard it mentioned, maybe you’ve seen it on TV or online, but you never got around to playing a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Now is the best opportunity for you. DnD for Beginners have seasoned game masters to give you the best intro and guidance as you take on new adventures in the world you create. The events starts with a talk on all aspects of the game, from history and lore, to gameplay and character design. Then they will set you in a game for your first adventure. Everything will be included, but please bring pencil and paper for your own notes.
