Sheltered Charity Through The Arts

‘Sheltered Charity Through The Arts’ is an innovative art exhibition set to take place in Dublin’s Copper House Gallery on November 8th & 9th, in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust. Our aim is to raise awareness and much-needed funds to help combat adult homelessness & families in crisis in Ireland. The event is free and will bring together a collective of established and up-and-coming artists to showcase their work and auction pieces of art.

Frontline Witness: Refugee Search & Rescue in the Mediterranean

Last week the European Parliament voted against a motion supporting search and rescue in the Mediterranean. Since 2014, 18,898 deaths were registered in the Mediterranean alone. It continues to be the most dangerous crossing in the world. 

Tonight, The Irish Refugee and Migrant Coalition, a coalition of Irish NGOs that seek to advance the rights and dignity of people on the move and those in need of international protection, will bring together crews from NGO search and rescue boats to discuss their work. So don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear directly from people involved in search and rescue missions in the Mediterranean.
