1. Lounge Act Nirvana tribute
This is it! All Apologies to the rest of concerts today, but we are talking about the ultimate Nirvana’s tribute in Dublin.
Whether you are one of those cheesy chocolate Heart-Shaped Box people or you think your heart is more like a Lake of Fire when talking About a Girl (or a boy), I urge you to Come as You Are to the Gypsy Rose Rock and Blues Bar tonight.
This is the authentic, ruff around the edges Nirvana of Ireland you were waiting for. They will be playing a two and a half hour set of Nirvana face melters for you up close and personal.
Be ready to shout out loud all those lyrics you know by heart!
Where: Gypsy Rose Rock and Blues Bar, 5 Aston Quay, Dublín Dublin 2
When: Friday 20, 19:00 – 23:00

Global Game Jam time has just arrived! On Friday 20th of January registration starts at 3pm at Microsoft in Sandyford.
The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game jam event taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using video games – it is very universal. The weekend stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression. It is all condensed into a 48 hour development cycle. The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity.
