Chat Bot, Art Bot, Book Bot – AI in Arts and Education

Artificial Intelligence affects all societies around the globe. From March 21-23 2019 the Goethe-Institut Irland will facilitate talks and discussions about the developments, chances and challenges facing us in how AI-technologies affect the activities of cultural organizations in arts and education and you are warmly invited to join in!

Three experts will speak on three major areas affected increasingly by the use of AI technologies that are especially of concern for cultural organization: reading, arts and translation. Marie Redmond, previously Professor for Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin and is currently teaching at Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia will chair the discussion.

TADGH live at The Grand Social

Shane Tadgh Nolan is a 25-year-old songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist from Dublin. Growing up on 90’s hip-hop and RnB, TADGH has a unique writing style that breathes nostalgia. Combining this aspect with his fresh and quirky vocal, we arrive at TADGH’s unique sound.

Amy Ellen + CAZA @Whelans Midnight Hour

Amy and Cara have teamed up their bands to play a double headliner for The Midnight hour sessions at Whelan’s (upstairs).

A mixture of Folk, pop and rock music, Amy Ellen and her band are beginning to make a name for themselves in the Irish music scene for their high-spirited, well-rehearsed performance, skillful writing, and attention to detail.

CAZA is a folk /pop /rock band. Cara Ward- the lead vocalist of the five-piece band, has a residency in the Zodiac Sessions here in Dublin. With elements of rock and folk combined, the band takes influences from The Killers and The National all the way to Bruce Springsteen.
