Violin and Chamber Music Masterclasses with Maria Milstein

Maria Milstein is a prizewinner of major international competitions both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She has performed in many of the world’s finest concert halls and collaborated with numerous distinguished musicians including her sister, pianist Nathalia Milstein, winner of the 2015 Dublin International Piano Competition. During her two-day visit to the Academy she will work with some of Ireland’s finest emerging young musicians in violin performance and chamber music.

Truth and Religion: Truth to be Told Lecture 7

“Truth to be Told” is a public lecture series and forum for debate run by the UCD’s Humanities Institute that aims to debate the socio-political, ethical, discursive and cultural implications of truth as a common good. Public lectures by internationally renowned speakers will examine some of the following topics: truth and the law, truth in stories, truth and memory, truth in history, truth within institutions, truth and the media, truth in art.
