2. Design and Violence
This exhibition about the axis where design and violence collide is a co-production between the Science Gallery, Dublin, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) New York.
It began as an online curatorial experiment hosted by MoMA, aimed at examining what violence looks like in modern society, and will build further upon the original online experiment, asking scientists and artists to examine what happens when creativity and engineering fall into the wrong hands.

Sat, 14 January 2017 12:00 – 18:00

3. The Clandestinos gig at The Bowery
The Clandestinos formed in 2014 in their hometown of Galway. Their intention was to celebrate and pay tribute to the much loved music of reggae, ska and latin and to bring its live atmosphere and vibe to Irish audiences. From classic Jamaican roots reggae, the British ska and punk artists it helped influence, to the latin tinged sounds implemented by the likes of Manu Chao and Buena Vista Social Club; The Clandestinos fuse all of this together in their 7-piece live show with the agenda being to get the high spirits up and to make people move!
We will be able to enjoy their good vibes and energy not once but twice this month. Be sure to drop by The Bowery to enjoy with your classic roots favourites, ska and punk-reggae from 80’s era London, groovy latin and a hint of dub here and there for good music!
Where: The Bowery, 196 Rathmines Road Lower
When: Saturday 14th and Saturday 28th
Price: Free admission
